Description
The label is inspired by the armadillo. The armadillo, which means "little armored one" in Spanish, is actually timid and nocturnal, living in burrows and curling into its hard shell when it senses danger. The wine has a slightly orange hue and features a smooth taste with soft tannins. It offers a gentle mouthfeel with a faint sweetness lingering on the finish. Recommended pairings include persimmon and cream cheese sandwiches, sardines simmered with ume (Japanese plum), and meat shumai.
