Amid the political turmoil following the shogun’s sudden death, a covert group receives a special mission—the “Science Ninja Team”—and wages a hidden war that shapes history.</p><p>In everyday life, the Science Ninja Team conceals their identities and lives modestly among the townsfolk.<br>But when strange phenomena stir under cover of night, they don their ninja garb and fight to foil the schemes of the secret society “Gyaraku Ninja.”</p><p>This piece depicts Ken the Eagle and Joe the Condor in their ninja personas within that imagined world.</p></div></div><p><img src=""https://img.ukiyoework.com/product/000000000311/mainpic02.jpg"" width=""1000"" height=""600"" alt=""Room view of Gatchaman Ukiyo-e ‘Science Ninja Team Gatchaman: Shadows’""></p><section class=""special""><h3>Tatsunoko Production × Ukiyo-e Studio Collaboration</h3><p><img src=""https://img.ukiyoework.com/product/000000000311/logo.png"" width=""600"" height=""100"" alt=""Tatsunoko Production × Ukiyo-e Studio Collaboration""><p><em>Science Ninja Team Gatchaman</em> is a Japanese sci-fi anime produced by Tatsunoko Production, broadcast from 1972 to 1974.<br>Formed by Dr. Nambu of the International Science Organization (ISO) to oppose the world-conquering secret society “Galactor,” the five-member Science Ninja Team battles using science-ninja techniques and specialized mecha.</p><p>From their massive aircraft “God Phoenix” to the ultimate move “Science Ninja Technique: Firebird,” the series is packed with striking elements, while also tackling serious themes such as environmental issues and the nature of justice.</p><p>Localized overseas and aired under titles like <em>Battle of the Planets</em>, it earned high acclaim worldwide.<br>As a landmark of Japanese animation history, it continues to be loved by many.</p><p>Hansan now presents a collaboration with <em>Science Ninja Team Gatchaman</em>,<br>portraying its compelling characters through the unique visual language of Ukiyo-e.</p></section><section class=""explainbox artist""><h3>Ukiyo-e Artist: Yoshiyuki Ebata</h3><figure><img src=""https://img.ukiyoework.com/product/artist/ebata-yoshiyuki.jpg"" width=""150"" height=""150"" alt=""Ukiyo-e Artist Yoshiyuki Ebata""></figure><p>Yoshiyuki Ebata is responsible for Ukiyo-e design at Hansan Co., Ltd.<br>In recent years, he has worked on Astro Boy NFT collaborations, corporate Ukiyo-e icons, and a wide range of projects leveraging the Ukiyo-e style.<br>Within the Ukiyo-e studio’s lineup, he has created pieces such as <em>Future Boy Conan</em> Ukiyo-e, <em>Neon Godzilla</em> Ukiyo-e, the <em>Fujiko F.
